it does seem a little too much for a 2ND birthday, but if it makes you happy, then there is nothing wrong into spoiling your kids.however make sure she doesn't expect more each birthdays, otherwise you better works those extra hours, when she will ask for the real pony next year…..

It does sound a bit, but I do the same too, I just want her to be happy, and have fun..but then I think about it..I don't think she really cares about half of the stuff, and think am I just wasting my money. Once she gets older I'm sure you'll "settle" down on the gifts..they do grow out of their toys often though.

Sounds like she may be just a little on the spoiled side of life. what happens if you have a party for her, she will just get more.
I do know it is posable to not spend much money on some of the things you got for her, and I don't think you need to count the necessities in with her birthday stuff.
but what happens if you don't have the money the next time her birthday rolls around and you don't go all out like you did this year she will be disapoited.
but again it is your child you can do what you want to do.
if you were asking the question if you think she is spoiled I think you already know that the answer is YES!!!!!!

That does sound like a lot to give one little person, but whether she is spoiled or not really depends on her sense of entitlement.

If she is truly appreciative and thankful for what you give her and realizes that this is a special occasion and that it doesn't mean she can have anything she wants whenever she wants it there is no harm in indulging her.

Thats not spoiled. Because if that small amount is spoiled then every one is pretty much spoiled. I think thats good. but then again i don't know how old your kid is if she is like 2 then yah but if she is like 7-10 then no

I'm not sure if I'd say she's spoiled, but it does sound like you have some issues you may need to work on. How old is she? And I hope that you also spend quality time with her and don't just buy her things and assume that's the measure of good parenting.

Sounds like someone is going to spend alot of time unwrapping presents. She's your daughter, do you think she is spoilt? thats more important than the opinions of a bunch of strangers..

Yes, it is too much. Most children get this amount of presents only at christmas. Why do you need to spoil her? giving her attention should be all she needs. You are only creating problems for yourself because as she gets older she will only expect the best of everything and will not like it if she does not get it.

I am still laughing very hard at '13 fake nails'!

Is this made-up?? I know a child who gets that much stuff and she is very spoilt, so whilst extreme, I know it's possible.

If Faith learns to write from you she isn't going to get a scholarship!

Uh, yeah. I'd say your little princess is definitely spoiled and indulged.

Yes! flippin Nora! – i bet she would would much rather have had some quality time going out with you, playing with you, doing craft with you, reading with you etc etc.

You know, it is so obvious that this is made-up, I can't believe that people are giving serious answers. She's just a child herself! But it's funny to read.

i dont think so , and for people that say its not true my wee girl has most of these things and she is 3 so i dont doubt a kid of that age could want these thing i would say its a lot because of chrismas being so recently but then again there is a big gap to christmas and why not spoil or buy alot for your kids . if only other people spent a lot of money on there kids instead of drugs and alcohol the world would be a better place , also a certain celberety could have done a lot better with her children she might not be in the looney bin now .
