I just love answering these karaoke questions. Here’s another:

Question: I kind of want to surprise my parents at our Viet club show… thing…, but I have no idea to sing. I’d really like to sing something in Vietnamese for them. I’m just wondering if anyone has any suggestions. They really like the traditional, oldie songs.

Answer: I need more informations to give you some suggestions because in Vietnamese, traditional music is a huge genre includes pretty much songs.

If your parents like songs sung in Vietnam war (to stimulate soldiers), you can find these songs on Youtube: "chiáº¿c gáºy TrÆ°á»ng SÆ¡n", "BÃ¡c Äang cÃ¹ng chÃºng chÃ¡u hÃ nh quÃ¢n", "cÃ´ gÃ¡i SÃ i GÃ²n Äi táº£i Äáº¡n", "TrÆ°á»ng SÆ¡n ÄÃ´ng, TrÆ°á»ng SÆ¡n tÃ¢y", "cÃ´ gÃ¡i má» ÄÆ°á»ng", "lÃ¡ Äá»", etc. (we call this kind is "red music").

If they like soft and romantics songs (yellow music), then you try "thu quyáº¿n rÅ©", "mÆ°a rá»«ng", "thÃ nh phá» buá»n", "tÃ¬nh láº» loi", "gá»i giÃ³ cho mÃ¢y ngÃ n bay", "dÆ° Ã¢m" (this is my favorite song, pretty good), "ÄÃªm nguyá»n cáº§u", "ai ÄÆ°a em vá»", etc.
