What is the Correct English Pronunciation for Karaoke?

This week’s question is a good one. Let’s have a look:

Question: Is it Carry-o-kee

or

Kar-o-kee?

I know it is really suppose to be karra-o-kee, but I am not referring to the Japanese pronunciation.
Thank you Science. That’s what I thought. Carry-o-kee drives me nuts!

Answer: Well, I wouldn’t say English has the best pronunciation of foreign words since who ever tries to use foreign words in English they fail at correctly saying them, I say it as it’s supposed to be said…”kah-rah-oh-keh”

    The English pronunciation is the same as for the Japanese.
