Question: I have few karaoke mp3 tracks. I have connected a mic to my PC(default). Now I want to mix karaoke track and my voice ( Song). How can I achieve this. What is the best tool freely available online? Note I am not looking only voice recorder, instead looking voice and mp3 mixer. (No special hardware preferred)
I just wonder the should be simple application of mixing 2 voices and why it is so difficult to get it online !

Answer: Hey, try Audacity, http://audacity.sourceforge.net/download/
It gives you a multilevel track mixer and you can record within it, plus its a freeware. Also use a LAME Encoder to directly export it into mp3 format to avoid using converters.
