Why Does a Song on Karaoke Machine Never Sound the Same in

A tough karaoke question this week. Let’s dive straight in

Question: what I mean by that is, it’s not the singer, it’s the actual music, you hear your favourite song on the radio, then see it in the karaoke book, so why, when you go to sing it, does it sound like the backing music is identical to someone who is dragging a bathtub down an alleyway?
Answer: The main reason to this is, that in Karaoke songs aren’t played by the actual group that made the original song. On "ITunes" if you search "Don’t Stop Believing" you will find many versions of it. You may find the actual song, and you will find some other covers, but if you look carefully enough, you will find a Karaoke group like "Karaoke All-Stars" who make covers of the song without a singer. The songs on a karaoke machine are usually not from the actual band, but are from a karaoke cover group like "Karaoke All-Stars". That is why a song on karaoke machine never sounds the same in real-life.
